How do I report a lost or stolen bank card?

If your AmBank card has been lost, stolen, or otherwise compromised, please let us know immediately:

For your AmBank Visa® Debit Card call:

  • 1-800-528-2273 (Inside the U.S.)
  • 1-812-647-9794 (Outside the U.S)

For your AmBank VISA Credit Card call:

  • 1-800-423-7503

You will need to have your card number available when you call. If you don't know your full card number, knowing the last eight numbers of the lost card, your Social Security Number (Tax ID number), and/or other personal information will be enough to help the card agent find your entire card number. By calling us as soon as possible, you may avoid liability for charges not made by you.

What do I need to open an AmBank account?

You can begin the process by completing the on line account opening form for the account you desire or by coming into one of our branches. Bring the following documentation to complete the on line process or initiate an in-branch account opening for each signer:

  • One form of photo government issued, non-expired identification (state ID, valid driver's license, current passport,) plus a secondary form of ID (U.S. military ID, concealed weapons permit, insurance card, vehicle registration, etc.)
  • Social Security Card
  • Initial Deposit

For business accounts, you will need the same information plus:

  • Entity documents

Description of Entity Information Required for a Business Account:

Sole Proprietors: Registration with the State of Utah

Partnerships: Partnership Agreement Registration and proof of Federal Tax ID number

LLCs: Articles of Organization Registration and proof of Federal Tax ID number

Corporations: Articles of Incorporation Registration and proof of Federal Tax ID number

How do I sign up for consumer or business online banking?

Click the new users link for online banking on the home page, then print and complete the application. Fax to 801.221.7676, email to customerassistance@myambank.com, or bring in to one of our branches. We will complete the setup process within two business days and contact you when it is available.

How do I set up Consumer Bill Pay?

Contact a financial service specialist at an AmBank branch; Provo - 801.377.4222 Heber – 435.654.1300 Lindon – 801.922.9888 and make a request.

How do I set up Business Bill Pay?

Click on the Business Bill Pay link or contact a financial service specialist at an AmBank branch in person or by phone; Provo 801.377.4222 Heber – 435.654.1300 Lindon – 801.922.9888. We will assist you in completing the necessary application.

What should I do if I forgot my password or am locked out of online banking?

Forgotten password: Log-in with your online banking user ID. Answer security challenge question when prompted. Identify authentication image associated with account. Click on forgotten password link. Enter user ID and click submit. Your password will be sent to your Email address on file.

Locked out of account: You will be locked out after three failed attempts to log-in with an incorrect password. The lock-out is effective for 30 minutes. Wait 30 minutes and attempt to log-in again.
